Topic: Praise an antidote for negativity and complains

Words of the Ministry:
Still on the power of praise, today we would be looking at praise as an antidote for negativity and complains. I like to emphasis that not only is it right to praise God, but it’s a must to praise him for us to have victory in this age. So many issues try to get our attention, most of which are negative, if we cultivate the attitude of praise and thanksgiving, we would realize that we have complete control over all negative emotions trying to find expression.
Our attitude towards praise in itself is a sign of our spiritual maturity and growth, while a baby Christian would at every instance complain, murmur and see reasons why God have not done enough, a mature believer on the other hand that has learnt how to trust God would rather turn it to praise knowing that our God never changes, if he came through for the saints of old, he would do same for us.
Check your attitude towards trails and see how naturally you choose to complain and negativity over praise and thanks giving then you would realize how much you need to grow. Praising God is a sign of love, Paul asked, what shall separate us from the love of God (Rom 8.35-39). That should be our attitude and such attitude only comes through growth, as we grow in the Lord, we see that nothing matters but God and regardless of our situation God is good.
