Words of the Ministry:
As we continue with our sharing on sonship, we would from today’s lesson be seeing that indeed we the saints as we grow in life are indeed as Jesus is, we would see that God’s original goal was men in the likeness of Jesus, we being the many sons of God. From today’s reading, we see David the psalmist asking a question similar to that in Hebrew, he said what is man that God visits him, made him a little lower than the angels, crown him with glory and honor and finally made him have dominion over the works of God’s hand putting everything under his feet, whereas we are familiar with the part that talks about dominion over creation in Gen 1.26-27, many do not realize that preceding that dominion is supernatural fellowship, glory and power, in other words the first man had glory, power, dominion and enjoyed the fellowship of God.
As we read that side by side with Hebrews 2.9-10, we see a great similarity between the Adamic man that David spoke about and the Lord Jesus Christ, although Adam fell, God’s plan for mankind was not changed as he through the last Adam, the Lord Jesus Christ who was God’s express image and likeness, full of glory and honor, having everything under his feet brought eternal salvation and redemption to the fallen man with the goal of making us the many sons of God. He brining many sons to glory being the captain of our salvation. We can therefore see that in as much as we grow in life, we become like he is, we are one with him, we are son of God as he is, full of glory and honor, having dominion over principalities, powers and rulers of darkness of this world, Halleluiah.
Dear saint, we again have seen the heart of God and the reason for redemption, we have seen that the goal of God is to bring us into glory, that we become matured as men to be partakers of his divine blessings. Our duty therefore is to corporate with him as his blessings follows his image and likeness. May the Lord grant us light. Tomorrow we would be considering the making of Sons. May the Lord grant us light. Keep in mind our monthly Peniel Encounter Coming up this week Sunday by 4pm and don’t come alone, Christ is our Life.
