6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

Words of the Ministry
Today I like us to look at another story in the new testament, an account of a man born lame who was healed by the apostles of Jesus namely Peter and John. This happened after the bodily resurrection and ascension of Jesus. Following the baptism of the Holy Spirit, the bible said the apostles were empowered to carry on the ministry of Jesus and a certain day as they went to the temple, they saw this certain man who was lame by the entrance of the temple, he expecting to receive alms from them looked steadfastly at Peter and John but the apostles answered saying silver or gold we don’t have but that which we have, we give unto you, in the name of Jesus Christ, rise and walk.
I like us to look at the offer of the apostles, they said what they have they give and what they gave was healing through the power of the Holy Spirit. Saints, this is quite instructive, the apostles were baptized of the Holy Spirit as we are and the Holy Spirit dwelt in them as he does in us but the difference between the apostles and many today is that we don’t know we have the same Holy Spirit as the apostles, we think the spirit in us is weaker, we don’t know that the same Christ that healed the sick and raised the dead is now in us, and that the Christ in us has come to abide permanently with us as promised by the father Luke 24.49.
Saints, do you know what you have, do you realize that the Holy Spirit in you can meet your healing needs and that of those around you? Until we begin to place value of the indwelling Christ (Spirit) we may never enjoy the benefits of resurrection which within the context of our lesson is divine health and healing to others. As we relate this to yesterday’s lesson which was healing as bread, we can therefore say that healing is not just bread given to us as God’s Children but we as God’s children can also give healing out to others. We like the apostles have healing and what we have we should give willingly as the bible commands. Dear reader, make up your mind to give that which you have, give healing to that’s sick spouse, neighbor, child, friend and the Lord would be glorified. May the Lord grant us Light.
