Topic: We are Kingdom Invaders

Yesterday we saw how Jesus was the fulfilment o the promised seed of Abraham who inherited the promise, we also emphasized that Jesus is the head, and we are the body, and he is king we are king and as he is priest, we are also priests. We also realized that the promised blessing that God made to Abraham was the Holy Spirit which is gotten when are born of water and the Spirit, by this we enter the kingdom of God and can now exercise dominion as an enlisted soldier. Believers now having received the promise, we are kings and priest rev 1.6,5.10 and he has also blessed us with all the blessing in Christ Jesus, i.e both what Adam had and lost through the Holy Spirit. We are therefore described in 1 Pet 2.9. As a royal priesthood. So, who is a royal priest hood and what does it mean, a king and priest who has dominion, fellowship with God and the blessing of God.
Whereas the kingship was separated from the priesthood in the Old Testament and even among believers today, God’s intention was never so, it was to have a seed, a royal priesthood as we see in Gal 3.29, we all as one seed in Christ Jesus who would have dominion over the earth, subduing it. In other words, now that you have been blessed and have the dominion restored, God doesn’t expect you to leave your day to day activities except you are called to a the ministry rather you are to be a king and a priest in your sphere as a doctor, tailor, engineer, banker and the spiritual portal reconciling man to God and God to man ensuring the prayer of Jesus is established where you are, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven, if there is no sickness, pain, suffering and sorrow in God’s will in heaven you are to enforce same on earth.
Jesus speaking to Peter said, we the Church, the body of Christ have been given the keys of the kingdom to bind and loose, heaven is on earth as Jesus has become the ladder, we are the new priest and kings, it is time to manifest. When the British came to Nigeria, they colonized our language, our dressing, our food, our life in general. So likewise, God is depending on us to do the same that men would like in Acts say they have turned the world upside down, that they would say they are Christians because they live like Christ.
That is the meaning of the kingdom invasion, that is preaching the message of the kingdom. The bible says we are his temple, his ambassadors his embodiment, his expansion. We are to influence the life of our family and friends, colleagues and neighbors, influence the language and lifestyle. Change their idea and opinion of God just as Jesus did it and how was that by living right, speaking right, casting out devils, healing the sick and gospel preaching. God doesn’t want just in heaven, heaven is just a haven we are coming back to the earth as kings and priest in the new Jerusalem (Rev 21.1-3) so instead of man coming to heaven, just like God did with Adam, God would rather come to earth permanently, hallelujah. That is greater things, that is the kingdom prayer being answered, amen.
