But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

Romans 5:3-5

3  And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience 4  And patience, experience; and experience, hope: 5  And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Words of the Ministry

Suffering in the life of a believer is never without outcome. Scripture shows us that after suffering comes establishment, strengthening, and settling. This means suffering has an expiry date and a purpose. It is not designed to destroy us, but to refine and reposition us.

Many believers focus only on the pain of the process, but ignore the promise attached to it. God always finishes what He starts, and suffering is not an exception. Romans tells us that tribulation produces patience, experience, and hope. This is a divine progression. Nothing in God’s dealings is wasted.

If you are going through a season of pressure, it is important to know that God is not absent. He is working something stable in you. The end of suffering in God’s hand is not breakdown, but rebuilding. Not destruction, but strengthening. Stay steady, because what God is building through suffering is far more stable than what comfort can produce.

We see same in the life of many bible saints, like Jacob, Joseph, Paul and even Jesus who learnt obedience through his suffering, we see that their end became more glorious than their beginning, that should always comfort us a s God know what we are going through, he said when we go through water or fire he would be with us, in other words, we are not alone and after such suffering would come restoration in multiple folds. May the Lord grant us light.
