16 These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, 19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren. Gen 6:5
5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. KJV

Words of the Ministry
The heart of man was designed by God to love God and to have constructive imaginations, unfortunately the devil polluted man since the fall and the heart of the unregenerate has been evil continually. Man prefers evil to good, darkness to light, hate to love. Our natural choices and affection has been corrupted by the venom of the serpent. The evil in the heart of man led to God destroying the earth with water sparing only 8 souls (Gen 6).
After the destruction of the earth with water, God made several covenants in the bible but particularly of concern to today’s sharing is the covenant he made with the house of Israel and the house of Judah which was instituted on the 10 commandments (Ex 20, Deut 5.2, 4.13-14) and mosaic moral and ceremonial laws. Unfortunately, man could not fulfil the demands of the covenant. God described their heart as a heart of stone, as a result, he promised giving them a new heart and putting the law in their mind and writing it on their heart.
God said he would make a new covenant and he would put it in their mind (Jer 31.31-34) and write in on their heart. To put it in their mind is to give them an understanding and a desire to do it, to write it on their heart instead of tablets of stones is to give them a love for the laws of God, so on the one hand they have the desire and on the other hand they love doing it.
God promised writing it, to write it is to use his finger. From the gospels when we juxtapose Luke 11.20 and Mathew 12.28 we come to realize the finger of God is the holy Spirit, for God to write it on their heart is to put his Spirit within man. Saints the Holy Spirit of God is within you to empower you to love and do the commandments of God. That is God’s solution to the venom of Satan. Do you still struggle with evil thoughts and imaginations, do you feel conquered in your mind and conscience, don’t let the devil cheat you continually, turn to God in your Spirit for help, ask him to cleanse your conscience and express his love through you.
