Words of the Ministry:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amen, yesterday we announced our fast for this special season starting from tomorrow, Tuesday the 23rd<\/sup> of August to Sunday the 28th<\/sup> of August. Please partake of this life transforming experience and invite family and friends to fellowship with us at this month\u2019s Peniel Encounter with the theme Works of Wonders (WOW). It promises to be a time of refreshing. Date 28th<\/sup> August, 4pm to 6.30 pm at Embraze event center Byazhin, Opposite Tipper Garage Kubwa, Abuja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We began looking at this week\u2019s theme, the watchmen as a preparatory message to what the Lord wants to do this coming Sunday, we learnt that God has placed us as watchmen in our sphere and if we don\u2019t act, nothing would change. We must go beyond wishing to acting and enforcing things through prayers. A typical example is the story of the Israelites at war in Exo 17.1-16, as Moses lifted up his hands with the staff of God, the Israelites were winning the battle as Moses grew tired they were losing so Aaron and Hur helped his hands up and the Israelites secured the victory. The implication is the same today, the Bible encourages us to lift up holy hands in prayer (1 thim 2.8), we are to stand as a force, a team or a group to effect a positive change (Mat 18.20).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As watchmen, to access divine secrets, the following steps must be taken:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. We must be those that fear him as his secret is with those that fear him (Psa 25.14, Pro 9.10), and his fear is the beginning of wisdom<\/li>
  2. We must be such that pray with faith Jam 1.5-6<\/li>
  3. We must pray with intensity Jam 5.16<\/li>
  4. Pray without ceasing 1 Thess 5.17<\/li>
  5. Pray with a burden and expect a result Isi 62.7<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    The bible assures us of God\u2019s willingness to answer our prayers, 1 Pet 3.12, says his eyes are on the righteous and his ears ae open to their prayers, in 2 Chro 7.14, he says if we humble ourselves and call upon his name we would testify, and in Eph 3.20, he said he is able to do above all that we can even ask. Saints God is not a man that he should lie, join us tomorrow as we raise some prayer points together, shalom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
