Text: Rom 9:23<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory, KJV<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Topic:  Man fallen short of God\u2019s glory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today\u2019s Reading: Rom 3:23<\/p>\n\n\n\n

23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; KJV<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Words of the Ministry:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This week\u2019s life capsule would be centered on God\u2019s plan for man in eternity past. We would be considering the original man in the light of the gospels as little was recorded about the first man Adam. From our previous lessons, we learnt that man was made a vessel (Rom 9.21-24) having three parts (Spirit, Soul and Body) 1 thess 5.23. The created man was meant to contain and contact God with his Spirit Jhn 4.24, Eph 5.18.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The created man was placed in the garden (Gen 1.26-27), he was to contain and contact God through regeneration, that would have happened if man ate of the tree of life (Gen 2.9, 16-17). The tree of life typified Jesus Christ (Jhn 1.4 + 15.4-5). Christ being the express image of the invincible God. By eating from the tree of life, Christ would have entered into man\u2019s spirit making a home in his Spirit. Adam and Eve chose the tree of knowledge of Good and Evil as a result they were both naked and suffered spiritual death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the fall of man, man was said to be naked but as we look closely at the bible we notice that the created man was created naked, Adam and Eve were both naked and were not ashamed (Gen 2.25) but after the fall were said to be naked (Gen 3.7) also the created man was chased out of the Garden Gen 3.22, to ensure they don\u2019t eat from the tree of life and live forever. We can therefore see that the tree of life was to keep them covered in an unnatural way and to make them live forever. The tree of life was the needed element fulfilment of the Gen 1.26-27. Man was in the image of God but he needed to eat the tree of life to be in his likeness (live covered in glory and live forever)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we read further, we notice man wore figs and God later gave them coats of skin (Gen 3.21), one may ask what is this coat of skin, it is the flesh?  (Rom 7.24). Man was judged immediately he ate the tree of knowledge, his body became a body of death because shekinah left his body and his mind also became darkened because the light of the shekinah left his mind (Eph 4.18). Saints do join us within the week as we intend to look at the implication of man as the vessel to contain the God of Glory, spread the word, invite friends to like our social media pages and fellowship with us in our monthly PENIEL event which comes up on Sunday the 30th<\/sup> of August, shalom..<\/p>\n\n\n\n
