This week we considered Basic Elements of Effective Prayer, considering the theme from various aspects. I like to encourage those that for one reason or the other couldn\u2019t partake of this week\u2019s fellowship (Sunday to Saturday) to visit our facebook page @godmanospelmission, like it to get daily updates<\/p>\n\n\n\n

General Text: Matt 7:7-12<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.  8 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.  9 Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone?  10 Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent?  11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!  12 Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. Day 1: Memory Verse: <\/strong>Heb 11:6<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him NKJV<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 2: Matt 7:12<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 3: James 4:2-3<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask. 3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures. NKJV<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 4: Gen 18:26<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

26 And the Lord said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes. KJV<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 5: Rom 8:16-17<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

6 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs \u2014 heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. NKJV<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 6: James 5:16<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. NKJV<\/p>\n\n\n\n
