Today\u2019s Reading: Eph 6:10-13<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.  13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. NKJV<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Words of the Ministry:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today we would take another view of our theme don\u2019t give up, we have within the week talked about God\u2019s organic salvation using our weaknesses and trials but today I want us to look at the issue from a different perspective. While many saints blame the devil in error for all their trials, so much more blame God in error for their pain, giving room for the devil to have a field day. While we must be willing to bear our temporary trials of faith meant to prune us and cut away the excesses of the flesh, it is wrong for believers to take every set back as God\u2019s will without seeking God\u2019s opinion. The Lord Jesus sought the father to know if the cup of suffering and dying on the cross was his will and when he realized it was, he agreed to it, unfortunately many just assume that because they fail at a venture, it must mean it is God\u2019s will for it to fail, they hold the bad impression that what would be would be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many believers are too passive, they leave everything to chance saying, let the will of God be done. Jesus said that while teaching on prayer, it wasn\u2019t a statement of comfort, Jesus said that we should pray the will be done, to do this we are to bind and lose. That situation that has lingered may linger forever if you don\u2019t bind and lose as God has given us the keys of the kingdom to bind and lose. Being passive would only deny you of your testimony, you can\u2019t expect God to do every binding and losing for you, another extreme view I have noticed among the saints is the idea that hence the bible has said it, I don\u2019t need to pray about it, unfortunately that is a deception from Satan. An illustration is Col 1.13 which says \u201cFor he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves\u201d or Phil 4.19\u201d And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus\u201d. When they read passages like this, they relax saying God has said it, I need not bother myself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saints the word of God is like our receipt, the evidence of payment, the ground on which we enforce our right, we are not meant to only read and believe but read, believe and pray it into manifestation, Rev 12:11a says \u201cThey overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony;\u201d NIV. To have victory we don\u2019t just hold unto the redemptive work of Christ, we must also enforce our testimony, the word of our testimony is what is written concerning you, your children, your marriage, your job, health, finances, etc. you must use your testimony as a weapon to enforce your right. As long as we don\u2019t enforce our right through prayers using the word, we would be continually cheated of the several blessings God has ordained for us. Check with your experience, how well do you enforce your right in prayer. As believers we are not only the bride of Christ, we are also warriors, wrestlers and our text says, we must stand strong putting on the whole armor of God as we wrestle against wicked spirits in the heavens. May the Lord grant us light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
