Today\u2019s Reading: John 5.7-9<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

7 <\/sup>The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.8 <\/sup>Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.9 <\/sup>And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath. KJV<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Words of the Ministry:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we consider our theme why wait, we have looked at a number of anti-deliverance agents, we have also learnt that Jesus Is the same, if he healed yesterday, he still heals today, if he delivered yesterday, he still does today. I like to consider the working of Jesus in the light of todays\u2019 reality. Just as the man by the pool needed the moving of the water, which we said was a type of today\u2019s need for the holy spirit in our local churches. Many are waiting for the move of the holy spirit to experience a supernatural change. They are hoping that should it please God someday, their situation would change for good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We see the lord making an offer to those who believe in Jhn 4.14 saying \u201cBut whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.\u201d And in Jhn 7.38 he said He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. From the preceding verses we see that while the church is waiting for an external moving of the water to experience their healing and miracles, the Lord Jesus has already placed the moving water in us to ensure we never thirst. The living water here is the Holy Spirit and through the Holy Spirit we are renewed from the inside, we have power to undo the works of darkness in our lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Acts 1.8 says we shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes, in other words every believer has power because to be a Christian, you must have the Holy Spirit in you. The same Holy Spirit that was in Jesus. The Holy Spirit is the power of God not just to get a miracle but to be a miracle, you don\u2019t need to wait for the moving of the water as the water (Holy Spirit) is ever moving (Living) within you. Luke 10.19 says Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Saints, why wait, the solution is within you, you need not go to heaven as heaven is on earth within you is the kingdom, the power and he glory. Enforce your authority in prayers today, believing in faith and your testimony would be next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
