Heb 5:12-14<\/p>\n\n\n\n
12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Words of the Ministry:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following doing, the next thing in our faith building principles is teaching. The word of God is the bases for our faith, as we said, faith comes by hearing, when we find grace with what we heard after meditation, prayers and doing it, we are also meant to teach others as recalling our past testimonies would not only help to build our confidence further in God but would point others to the same path that gave us victory thereby resulting in the making of many sons of Faith. Therefore for faith to grow, we must add the element of teaching others. In Mathew 28.20, Jesus instructed his disciples make other disciples and to teach others all he taught them. From Today\u2019s reading we see that in Acts the bible says Jesus did before he taught, that again shows that Jesus meant the disciples live the life of faith before they taught it as he was their pattern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The second reading now sheds more light on the matter, the author of Hebrews said the believers were acting as babes needing milk and not strong meat because while they themselves ought to be teachers, they still needed someone to teach them the basics of the Christian faith, they are unskillful, they don\u2019t want to exercise their senses and as a result they are babes. This is contrary to the testimony of Jesus, he said I have food that you don\u2019t know about and that meat and that is doing the will of God (Jhn 4.32-34). Again we see that doing then teaching is an indication of growth, it a way to build our faith, it is a way to become a son in God Kingdom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dear saint, God\u2019s goal is for you to enjoy his grace of faith and to teach same to others. We see a recurring patter of such in the old testament, God told Joshua after him and the children of Isreal had crossed Jordan that they should pick 12 stones as a memorial for each tribe to not only remind them but also their children of how the Lord took them through the river (Jos 4.1-7), that is a type of we rehearsing our testimony to others, it strengthens our faith and also helps younger believers to hear the word of faith thereby starting the same circle of hearing, meditating, praying, doing and they would also eventually teach same.
